Michael Saywitz, Chairman of The Saywitz Company, has personally completed a lease with Commonwealth Partners (Landlord), now McGuire Partners for the 14,000 s.f. restaurant location on Anton, the former site of El Torito Grill. Saywitz represented the Tenant, “Mastro’s Steakhouse” (also in Beverly Hills and Phoenix).

Mastro’s recently opened it’s “Ocean Club” restaurant concept in Crystal Cove, Newport Beach, where the Irvine Company is the landlord.

The anticipated opening for The South Coast Metro Steakhouse is mid December. The restaurant will feature nightly jazz, a full bar, extensive wine list and private party facilities.

Saywitz has also represented other restaurants in the area, including Scotts Seafood and Turner New Zealand. The Saywitz Company is a full service commercial real estate brokerage and development firm located Newport Beach.

Michael Saywitz has been a California resident for the past 25 years, during which time he has been involved in numerous real estate development projects and financing transactions. For the past 10 years he has headed the structured capital and retail functions of The Saywitz Company.
