“ We chose the South Coast Metro area for our real estate and business law firm because it enhances our professional image,” said Marc De Frenza, attorney and partner with Garrett DeFrenza Stiepel LLP. “This area offers a wealth of entertainment venues, including the performing arts, world-class restaurants and exclusive shops, all within walking distance. Not only is the South Coast Metro convenient for entertaining clients, it also facilitates social activities with our friends and families.”

South Coast Metro offers internationally acclaimed performing arts in five incredible venues that comprise the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Included are the stages of South Coast Repertory’s Folino Theatre Center – the Segerstrom Stage and the Argyros Stage – plus the Orange County Performing Arts Center, home of the 3,000-seat Segerstrom Hall and Founders Hall. And the remarkable 2,000-seat Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall and 500-seat Samueli Theater.

The beautiful design of the concert hall is the work of internationally respected architect Cesar Pelli in concert with the dean of American acousticians, Russell Johnson of ARTEC.

The hall features a magnificent glass facade curving gracefully across the exterior. As they enter, patrons have a preview of the dramatic, multi-tiered foyer and, once inside, enjoy a view from all levels to the Center’s first hall and its signature sculpture, Fire Bird by noted artist Richard Lippold. Guests in the existing Center can see into the magnificent structure’s lobby, public restaurant and private donor room. The lobby ceiling, finished in silver leaf, soars 80 feet above street level. A beautiful work of architectural jewelry mirrors the spiral staircase -- 300 silver lavalières are suspended in graduated lengths and tipped with individual star-like fixtures.

The Samueli Theater has its own distinctive entrance with large frosted glass panels illuminated from behind and producing a subtle glow against the building’s white limestone facade. A spectacular outdoor plaza created by Peter Walker and Partners unites the venues with the current Center and South Coast Repertory.
